contrast
wow, look at the time!
i am all too aware of how long it has been since my last post.
i’ve been working out how to this site will need to change to adapt to my requirements and well, change is coming.
and as soon as i get a chance to sit down with my dear friends who help me maintain this site. this shouldn’t take too long now. :D
the basic idea of erratic light is clear and now the implementation and site re-design will come into play.
yay.
doorway
after a long delay since my last post, i thought today would be a good day to do something about it. :D
this is a door in rome, on one of the seven hills, i am not sure which one it is though. i’m actually not sure whether it has been opened at all in recent decades, but something about it caught my eye and i thought that i would share it! don’t be like this boarded-up door. it looks nice, but that’s about it…
poetic, no? :D

wired
while i was craning my neck, i found this in my archives. this telephone was in the parking lot of the legendary “Easy Street Records” in Seattle.
although wires and poles are something of a cliché, i couldn’t resist. i love the stark contrast between the wood, the wires and the sky. serve with a cup of espresso and you’ll be sure to have a neckache for awhile. :D
ultra dramatic crane!
please don’t concentrate too much on the framing of the image, i couldn’t fit everything in there that i would have wanted to. this picture i thought i should post mainly for contrast. :D i like how this crane stood out against the gloomy…dark…ominous storm clouds! :D
at a bar, watching the world end…
i thought i’d kick may off with a bang. :D or something. last summer me and my friend were having dinner at a dive bar, which was actually fairly cool, i happened to look out and this is what i saw. and now so do you. it seems that the world didn’t quite end, but it makes for a cool title for a picture.
round and round we go
i decided to stick with the carneval-circus-kinda idea for another day. as we are headed towards what is undoubtedly the largest spectacle of the spring, May-day, i suppose this might be appropriate. :D
a day at the circus
i really have no idea why i posted this picture, other than i like it? i’ve been wanting to do something with this picture for quite some time now…maybe i’ll find some real use for this picture one of these days.
“V” for…
i think valmet? or valtra? anyhow, i couldn’t resist. this is faceplate of my father-in-laws tractor! one of the three i think?! this one was pretty old and i loved the whole…holey-thing…it looks like a fruit-computer-thing to me. :D
diesel power!
i can’t recall when i took this picture. it was before i was married, surely. little did i know that this engine had more to do with my future than i knew! it turns out that i proposed to my wife in front of the old factory-building where this engine was built decades ago. :D pretty cool, huh?
